How It Works
My program consists of four coaching appointments before complimenting this with a powerful session which combines hypnosis and Neuro Linguistic Programming to help you stub out the habit for good. A follow up session is also part of this package where you can share your success with me.
Initially we’ll talk, you’ll answer some specific questions about why YOU smoke (because it’s different for everyone), and then we’ll look at getting rid of any limiting beliefs or self-sabotaging behaviours that cause you to smoke.
That’s it. Most clients I never hear from again – until they send me a testimonial – they remain non-smokers and get on with their lives.

Some people need a little more. Or they run into a stressful problem in their lives and go back to their old behaviour. There’s no shame in that – just positive learning about how NOT to be. So if they need to come back, they’re welcomed. Because often it just takes a little half-hour tweak to cement the new habit in place so they can be successful. And the majority of people are able to be helped with hypnosis.
Everything You Wanted To Know About Hypnosis But Were Afraid To Ask
Hypnosis used to be a voodoo party trick with spinning discs and pocket watches but its come a long way since then. Its used widely in medicine, sports performance, treating phobias and a host of other applications. But many people have seen TV shows of people being hypnotised and there are still some myths kicking around about it.
What if I can’t be hypnotised?
Good question! Almost everyone can be hypnotised – you probably do it to yourself without knowing. All you need to be hypnotised is an IQ of at least 80 and the ability to follow instructions. And I’m sure you can do that.
What does it feel like?
Most people experience a calm state of deep relaxation. For some it can feel like they’re drifting off to sleep (although it’s NOT sleep) – for others it’s a relaxed awareness. And you’re always in control!
Can you make me do something I don’t want to do?
No way! You are in complete control. I can’t make you do anything you don’t want to do. This is why I ask my clients to be at least a 9 out of 10 in their desire to give up their habit. (And I promise not to make you cluck like a chook or do anything else that would embarrass you – you’re here to Stub Out The Habit, not behave like a dill).
What am I going to do once I’ve had the session?
Whatever you want! One of the things we’ll talk about it the new habits you’d like to put in place. (Because let’s be honest – smoking has been a big part of your life up until now.) By substituting some new healthy habits we can keep the feelings of pleasure you used to get from cigarettes – but transfer them into something positive.
So some clients decide to walk more or go to the gym. They want to drink more water, or eat more healthy fruits and vegetables. Some read more or spend more quality time with their families. Whatever ‘health’ means to them!
